Surrender is Powerful

Under normal circumstances (if that is normality), to surrender is to give up the power to do something when we are in a situation. Under these circumstances, surrender is seen as weak, a giving-up condition that should only be the recourse of those who do not want to achieve anything. This is a description that well fits the physical being of man.

Nevertheless, from the spiritual perspective, this is one of the most powerful acts that man can engage in. Surrender in spirituality, means the acceptance of that which is, right at his moment - that is, something whose current state or condition is, as it is. Any nonacceptance of such a truth only creates conflict. It is this conflict that surrender removes from our lives and no student of positive mentality should have any conflict in their lives.

After surrender, we then allow life to take over and correct the unfavorable situation that we are experiencing at that moment.
